Oklahoma homeschool tax credit and Gallop

Oklahoma gives homeschool families a refundable income tax credit of up to $1,000 per student for qualified expenses paid during the tax year. Online learning programs and curriculum are on the list, so Gallop may count toward it. Check with whoever does your taxes.

How the credit works

Paid by December 31

Expenses count in the year you pay them. Anything you pay for Gallop by December 31 falls in that tax year.

Keep the receipt

Your Gallop receipt lists each child by name and what you paid, which is what you send with your return.

Two ways to pay

What your child gets

K-12 online curriculum in math, English, science, social studies and Spanish. A placement check finds each child's level in every subject, a short daily plan sets the work, every lesson is read aloud, and a wrong answer gets explained with a second try. You get a weekly report and a dashboard with notes on each child.
